There are another 2 methods to add contacts to favorites.

When adding or editing single contact, tap on

Tap on to navigate to favorite category. Then tap on
favorites.

EDIT CONTACTS

SEND CONTACTS TO DESKTOP SHORTCUT

and select "Send to desktop". A shortcut for this contact will be created on the idle
