Adjusting the parking
distance control volume
Depending on the vehicle, certain set-
tings can be adjusted from the touch-
screen A. Please see the equipment in-
structions for further information.

Temporary deactivation of
the system
(Depending on the vehicle)
Press switch 3 to deactivate the system.
The indicator light on the switch comes
on and the message "Parking sensor
off" is displayed on the instrument
panel. The system is reactivated by
pressing the switch.
The system will be automatically reacti-
vated each time the engine is switched
off.
Prolonged deactivation of the
system
You may permanently activate or deac-
tivate the front or rear parking distance
control separately.
From the vehicle settings customisa-
tion menu (refer to the information on
the "Vehicle settings customisation
menu" in Section 1), select the line
"Front parking sensor" or "Rear parking
sensor" then activate or deactivate the
system:

Operating faults
When the system detects an operating
fault there will be a 5-second contin-
uous beep as a warning. Consult an
approved dealer.
When the vehicle is being driven at
a speed below approximately 4 mph
(7 km/h), certain noises (motorcy-
cle, lorry, pneumatic drill, etc.) may
trigger the beeping sound.
