LUBRICATION

Seruice Adjustment Procedures
ENGINE
OIL
REPLACEMENT

1.
Warm up
the
engine.
2.
Drain
the engine oil by removing the drain plug
and
removing
the filler
cap.
3.
Tighten
the
drain plug
to
the
specified torque.
NOTE
Install
the
drain plug gasket so
it
faces in the
direction
shown
in the
illustration.
4.
Fill
with
new
engine
oil.
Furthermore, check
the
level
gauge
while
filling.
Specified
oil
(APl classificationl: SG
or
higher
Oil quantity:
4.O drn3
(4.2
U.S.qts.,
3.5 lmp.qts.l
(excluding residual oil
in
the oil fi]ter and oil
oooler)

REPLACEMENT

1.
Drain
the
engine
oil by
removing
the oil drain plug
and
then
removing
the filler
cap.
2.
Use an
oil filter
wrench
to
remove
the
engine
oil
filter.
3.
Clean
the
surface
of the filter
bracket attachment.
4.
Lubricate
the
O-ring
of the
new oil filter
with a
small
amount
of
engine
oil.
5.
Screw
in the oil filter by
hand, and after
the O-ring
con-
tacts the flange surface, tighten
it
another 1 turns with
a
filter wrench, etc. [approx.
14
Nm (1.4 kgm. 10
ft.lbs.]].

Refill
the engine
oil.

erigine

three times

make sure that
