Disassembly
1. Turn off the computer and place it with its LCD display facing down on a clean, dry, level surface.

2. Remove screw " 1 " ( Figure 2 - 4a ) from the rear of the computer and slide the LCD hinge cover " 2 " ( Figure 2 - 4b )
Memory Removal
up towards the top of the computer and remove it.
Sequence
3. Remove screws " 3 " and " 4 " ( Figure 2 - 4c ) from the IDE shielding plate " 5 " ( Figure 2 - 4d ) and carefully ease the
IDE shielding plate out of the computer.
a. Remove the
screw from the
LCD hinge cover.
b. Slide off the LCD
hinge cover.
c. Remove the IDE
shielding plate
screws.
