Meaning
On
The switch is receiving power.
Off
The switch is NOT receiving power.
Off
The normal state; indicates that there are no fault
conditions on the switch.
On
The switch has a hardware failure, or has failed
its self test. See chapter 3, "Troubleshooting" for
more information.
On
Indicates the port is operating correctly and
receiving a link signal from the connected device.
Off
One of these conditions exists:
• no active network cable is connected to the
port
• the port is not receiving a link signal
On/
Indicates that there is network activity on the
Flickering
port.
Displays whether the port is configured for full-duplex
operation or 100 Mbps operation depending on the mode
selected. See "100/Fdx Select Button" on the next page for
more information.
100
Indicates that the 100/Fdx LEDs are lit for ports
that are operating at 100 Mbps.
Fdx
Indicates that the 100/Fdx LEDs are lit for ports
that are in full-duplex mode.
