100/Fdx Select Button

To optimize the amount of information that can be displayed for each
of the switch ports without overwhelming you with LEDs, the Switch
408 uses a dual-function 100/Fdx LED for each port. The operation of
this LED is controlled by the 100/Fdx Select button situated at the end
of the row of LEDs. Press the button to select the desired display
mode.
If the 100/Fdx Select button is in the "out" position, the LEDs light
for those ports that are operating at 100 Mbps.
If the 100/Fdx Select button is in the "in" position, the LEDs light
for those ports that are operating in full duplex.
