Power Folding
For vehicles with power folding
mirrors, press the folding mirror button
to fold the outside mirrors flat against
the side of the vehicle.
The ignition must be in ON/RUN or
ACC/ACCESSORY. See Retained
Accessory Power (RAP) on page 8-15
for more information.
Power to the folding outside mirrors
will work up to 10 minutes after the
vehicle has been turned off. Power to
the folding outside mirrors will turn off
if a door is opened while the key is in the
LOCK position or taken out of the
ignition.
Warning
Always keep your mirrors properly
adjusted, and use them while driving
to increase your visibility of objects
and other vehicles around you. Do
not drive while either outside
rearview mirror is folded back.
Caution
Do not operate mirror continuous
while the engine is not running.
This will discharge the battery.

HEATED MIRRORS

For vehicles with outside heated
mirrors:
(Rear Window Defogger): Press to
heat the outside rearview mirrors.
Heating works with the engine running
and is switched off automatically after a
few minutes or by pressing the button
again. See Rear Window Defogger
under Automatic Climate Control on
page 7-7 for more information.
