FIXED AIR VENTS

Windscreen Defroster Vents
The windscreen defroster vents direct
air onto the windscreen.
Floor Vents
The floor vents direct air into the front
foot area.
Front Door Window Defroster Vents
The front door window defroster vents
direct air onto the side windows, mainly
in the area near the outside mirror.
Rear Vents
Cooled or heated air travels to the rear
foot area through ducts underneath the
front seats.

MAINTENANCE

AIR INTAKE

The air intake in front of the windshield
in the engine compartment must be kept
clear to allow air intake.
Remove any leaves, dirt or snow.
PASSENGER COMPARTMENT
A/C FILTER
The filter removes dust, pollen, and
other airborne irritants from outside air
that is pulled into the vehicle.
The filter should be replaced as part of
routine scheduled maintenance. See the
Maintenance Schedule for replacement
intervals.
The passenger compartment A/C filter
can be accessed by removing the entire
glove box.
Climate Controls 7-11
1. Remove the six screws from around
the glove box.
2. Lower the loosened glove box
housing.
3. Remove the glove box.
