Step 4 :
Remove the fuel cap. If the fuel cap is difficult to
unscrew, press the valve in the center, and remove
(See Figure 27).
Step 6:
Install the fuel filter to the fuel sump tank.
The Fuel Filter is included in the optional capsule tank kit
(see Figure 29).

Step 5 :
A siphon is not included with your Monitor 2200. You
may obtain one from your Monitor dealer.
To operate a siphon, insert the straight tube into the
kerosene container. Insert the siphon's flexible hose
into the capsule fuel tank (see Figure 28).
Watch the fuel gauge on the capsule tank closely.
As the fuel begins to near the full level (see Figure 28),
stop the flow by turning the vent knob on top of the
siphon counter-clockwise. Remove the siphon slowly
to allow excess kerosene to drain back into the
container.

Step 7 :
Replace and tighten the fuel cap. To insure proper fuel
flow, be sure the cap is secured correctly.
Install the tank with the arrow pointing forward,and
close the tank cover (see Figure 30).
