Page 6: Unpacking The Appliance
The decorative front frame assembly is fitted after the main firebox has been fitted to the wall. Pinoir, Memoirs and Saturn models; The out casing / frame components are fitted after the main firebox has been fixed to the wall. -
Page 7: Fixing The Appliance
Pinoir/Memoir models: To access these holes the front heatshield of the outlet grille will need to be released. This is achieved removal of the two retaining screws, one on either side, located at the top front corners of the firebox. -
Page 8: Testing And Commissioning
In the event that the burner pressure is not in accordance with the figures stated in the data section of these instructions, the appliance must not be commissioned, and the manufacturer should be contacted for guidance. © 2008 Focal Point Fires plc. -
Page 9: Fitting The Decorative Frame
Remove any protective packaging, and remove any protective film that may be present on the frame. Pinoir and Memoirs models : Remove the stone facia panel from any protective packaging. The stone facia panel is supported by four M6 screws which protrude from the front of the outer cas- ing. -
Page 10: Servicing The Burner Unit
Remove the catalysts their seals and discard. Refit the new catalysts and seals in reverse order, ensure the catalysts and the glass door have good seals. © 2008 Focal Point Fires plc. -
Page 11: Testing For Firebox Leakage
THERMOCOUPLE TO MAKE THE PILOT STAY ALIGHT. Fire smells when first lit or in use Newness smell from brand new appliance. Leakage occurring. Carry out leakage test and rectify any problems. Combustible materials used in incorrect positions. © 2008 Focal Point Fires plc. -
