6. From the Action drop-down list, select an action to be
performed on incoming messages that meet the conditions you
have set in step 5.
• FORWARD: messages meeting the filter conditions will be
forwarded to your handheld.
• LEVEL 1 NOTIFICATION: messages meeting the filter
conditions will be forwarded to your handheld with
Priority status.
• HEADER: only the Header of messages meeting the filter
conditions will be forwarded to your handheld. The
Header consists of the To, From, Subject, and Date
fields of the message.
• DON'T: messages meeting the filter conditions will be
held at your desktop. You will not receive the message on
your handheld.
7. When you have set the filter conditions and action, click Save.
The filter that you just created will be added to the list on the
Filters page. Look for the new filter under Filter Name.
Suspending message delivery
You can suspend message delivery at any time from the BlackBerry
Internet Edition Settings web pages. You may wish to suspend
message delivery if you'll be spending a lot of time at your
computer (the messages will arrive there anyway), if you're
travelling out of network coverage, wish to conserve battery power,
or simply don't require your email to be delivered wirelessly.
