Before you begin driving, press the
brake pedal to confirm that the
pedal is adjusted to the correct
position for you.
If you cannot reach the brake
pedal or are unable to fully press
the pedal, readjust the pedal
position.
Only small adjustments should be
made while driving.
For information on programming
the adjustable pedal positions into
memory, see "Memory Feature" in
Section 1.
This feature will not operate under
any of the following conditions:
• The transmission is in
R (Reverse).
• Cruise control is active.
■ ENGINE BLOCK
HEATER (IF EQUIPPED)
Use this option if you have to park
in very cold weather, -18°C (0°F)
or colder. You'll get easier starting
and better fuel economy during
engine warm-up.
Your vehicle may also have an
internal thermostat in the plug
end of the cord. This prevents
operation of the engine block
heater when the temperature is at
or above -18°C (0°F).
The cord is located on the driver's
side of the engine compartment,
near the power steering reservoir.
