The system can be disabled by
pressing the rear parking assist
button located near the sound
system.
The indicator light will come on
when the system is turned off and
you shift into R (Reverse).
If you disable the system, the
PARKING ASSIST OFF message
will appear in the driver informa-
tion center display.

When the engine is turned off
and back on, the system is auto-
matically re-enabled.
