Close the front cover.

The print-head carriage moves to the left side of the machine, and then the
screen shown in the figure appears.
Open the cover L.
Preparations are complete when this screen appears.

Be sure to clean using
one of the included
cleaning sticks.
Remove the cover R.
Touch the location shown in the figure to
discharge any static electricity.
Moisten the cleaning stick with the clean-
ing liquid.
