3.3 Short Integration Times

3.3.1.
25 usec integration times and shorter. *Note: Integration times shorter than
25 usec may need a brighter source.
3.3.2.
Set VDetCom to 5.0 VDC for 25 usec Turn skimming on.
3.3.3.
Set VDetCom to 5.1 VDC for 5 usec. Turn skimming off.
3.3.4.
When prompted by IRvista to set the BRIGHT source intensity, adjust the
lamp voltage until the mean value is about 950 counts above the "light off"
mean count value. At 25 usec and with the lamp voltage at 12V (maximum),
the counts may not reach 950 counts above the "light off" mean count value.
A NUC can still be performed using a lower count value.

3.4 High Gain Mode

3.4.1.
Select "Camera" then "Camera Control" from the pull-down menu to set the
following.
3.4.2.
Turn High Gain mode on.
3.4.3.
Turn skimming off.
3.4.4.
Set VDetCom to 4.70V. VDetCom may have to be increased if there is an
area in the image that looks black. These pixels may need a higher
VDetCom voltage to turn on.
3.4.5.
Some sensors may not image very well in high gain mode and at long
integration times (200 msec or 500 msec in high gain mode).
