GB.5.2
Safety instruction for wet-cleaning
machines
Attention: Switch off immediately if foam
or fluid escapes!
GB.6
Setting the machine up
The machine with moving accessories:
Engage the suction hose directly into the tank
coupling. Assemble the hand-held tube with
firm rotary movements. Then connect the
nozzle onto the lower end of the hand-held
tube. The working height can be individually
adjusted by turning the curved section of the
hand-held tube.
(In order to remove the suction hose from the
tank coupling, the button on the front left side
of the coupling merely has to be depressed
whilst simultaneously pulling the hose.)
The machine with rigid suction nozzle (Figure
4):
Remove the rubber profile (51) above the
transverse support (below the tank) and fasten
the retaining hoop (18) into the transverse
support (61) with 3 screws. Place the rubber
profile (51) back onto the transverse support
(61). Unscrew the two cap nuts (48). Insert the
ends of the hoop (50) into the drill holes in the
transverse support (61). Screw the cap nuts
(48) on again. The nozzle carrier (19) is
equipped with recesses into which the retaining
hoop (18) fits. Push the lever (53) on the
nozzle carrier (19) down completely.
Place the nozzle on the floor, and engage into
the holder (18), either centrally or offset. The
rigid suction nozzle (21) is now directly
attached to the machine. Connect the rigid
suction nozzle (21) and the tank coupling (5) to
the suction hose (49). Whilst the suction motor
is operating, turn the adjustment wheel (54) on
the nozzle carrier (19) to the left (from the
rear), until air can be heard beneath the rubber
lips (59). If the setting of the adjustment wheel
(55) is optimal, the vacuum cleaner will
immediately dry the floor without the application
of a great deal of force.
Engage nozzle upwards/ resting position
Raise the nozzle (20) together with the hoop
(50) until this engages in the nozzle carrier
(19); in order to lower, simply press the suction
nozzle (20) downwards, the hoop (50)
disengages from the retaining spring.
The machine with intermediate ring
with paper filter bag or filter disc:
Disconnect the mains power plug. Remove
motor section.
Either: Place the paper filter bag (24) onto the
tank coupling (see printing on the bag).
Or:
Clamp the filter disc (33) over the edge
of the tank (30) so that the wall of the tank is
evenly overlapped.

Home
Position the intermediate ring and then the
motor section.
Close all clamping fasteners.
Or:
tank (30) and filter disc (33). Insert the
polythene bag (32) into the tank (30), see
insertion label on the polythene bag. The tank
with a connection for the connecting hose (7)
and the tank adaptor (29) with a connection for
the connecting hose (7) and the filter disc (33)
must be used.
GB.7
1.
Disconnect the mains power plug.
2.
Open clamping fasteners, remove the
motor section.
3.
Determine whether a folded filter has been
installed; if not, turn the motor section upside-
down and
Open fasteners (28).
Remove float housing (27).
Insert folded filter (22).
Slide float housing (27) on.
Close fasteners (28).
4.
If necessary, drain the tank.
5.
Position motor section, close clamping
fasteners.
6.
Insert the mains power plug, switch the
vacuum cleaner on via the switch.
7.
If the tank has to be drained:
the float interrupts the flow of air in the
case of types with a float
in the case of types with shut-off, the
suction motor is automatically shut off.
8.
In both cases, set the switch (9) to "0" and
disconnect the mains power plug (8).
9.
Open clamping fasteners (1), remove
motor section (2).
10. Move the tank (3) and the chassis (11) to
the toilet or to the drain, and drain the tank via
the tilting mechanism, whereby the chassis
must be secured against rolling away by
positioning the foot immediately behind the
wheels on the chassis.
11. If the tank (3) is only partially full at the
end of the working day, it must nevertheless be
drained and cleaned with a cloth. The removal
of metal chips or particles from the floor of the
tank is especially important. Rusting iron may
damage even "stainless steel" (formation of
infection rust).
GB.8
1.
Disconnect the mains power plug.
(Figure 3)
2.
Open clamping fasteners, remove the
motor section.
3.
Determine whether a folded filter has been
installed and is dry; if not, install a new filter; in
order to achieve this, turn the motor section
upside-down (see Figure 1):
Open fasteners (28)
Remove float housing (27).
