(c) Secure the adapter to the back of the tray using 4 screws
(d) Secure the hard disk drive to the front of the tray using 4 screws
6. Hold the hard disk with tray by its handle and insert the hard disk into the slot.
7. Close the handle slowly. The handle clicks and locks into place.
IMPORTANT:
Do not pinch your fingers with the handle.
When adding several hard disks, wait at least 90 seconds
8. Label the front face of the hard disk you have installed with the slot number. Slot
number labels are packed with the hard disk and/or with the Disk Expansion Unit.
9. Once you have added the hard disk drive(s), install the front bezel removed in step 2
referring to the section "Installing or Removing the Front Bezel".

Removing a Hard Disk

Remove a hard disk drive from the Disk Expansion Unit as described in the following procedure.
NOTE: Remove the front bezel to see the hard disk drive
LEDs. When a hard disk drive is defective, its Disk Status
LED is lit in red. You can also use the Locate function of
the MegaRAID Storage Manager to identify the hard disk
drives.
