Additional Solar Panel Installation for DHW with Heat Pump (Field Option)
• Solar panel and heat pump are able to operate simultaneously by default setting value. (FSV
#3071, "1'(Yes))
• Solar panel gets a priority by setting "0 " in FSV #3071.
• Zone #1, #2 valve keep the room direction except hot water mode (Hot water mode has
priority than other modes, Default : Normal Open to the room direction when power is off.
According to 3 way valve type, if normal open direction of the valve at power "ON" is in room
side, Change "0" to "1" in FSV #3071.
• 2 way valve for switching how water, Normal close type is default. Normal open type valve
can be used depending on #3071 sets.
• Set FSV #3072(Zone #1, Thermostat #1), #3073(Zone #2, Thermostat #2 ) of 2-way valve
for zone control of cylinder unit, in condition of normal (Default : Normal open type valve, for
performing "Open mode" when power is off.
• Zone #1 and #2 can be open separately or simultaneously but all 3 zones can not be open
or closed at the same time.
• For 2-way valve of cylinder unit, when converting "Close to Open", the mode is active
without any delay. But in change mode of "Open to Close", the mode is active after 1
minute.
• Zone control mode is only available with external thermostat, the control of 2way valve for
zone #1, zone#2 is the same for other operation modes.
• When changing from Hot water mode to space heating mode, 2 valves for zone control
open as soon as receive the signal, but there is one minute delay for hot water valve. When
required to perform the zone control separately in 2 valves by external thermostat, 1 minute
delay is required for zone valve which receives the signal of thermostat thermo off.
• In case of "Thermo off" condition, one of 2 valves for space heating is always open.
(No mode of all 3 valves closed)
