NOTES:
• The CAK4A termination cap must be a minimum of 4 ft
(1219 mm) above the ground and kept free of debris.
• If the CAK4A is installed in a chase, the CAK4A side
termination cap must be at least 3 ft (914 mm) below
the chimney top.
• Seal around the cap and fl ex with caulk to stop air from
getting into the chase (see Figures 6.4).
WARNING! Risk of Fire!
• The fl ex pipe must never be compressed or deformed!
• Restricting the airfl ow inside the fl ex pipe may increase
fl ue pipe temperatures causing a chase fi re.
