1.3 Setting up the Camera System

The standardized FireWire interface allows the camera to be used for a variety
of applications. The following graphic provides an overview of the possible
hardware configurations and the required accessories:

When it is being operated on a PC, power is supplied to the AxioCam MRc5
via the 6-pin to 6-pin FireWire cable. On a notebook, a FireWire hub is also
required to supply power to the camera.
