31. Troubleshooting

Error description
The automate does not start up. Display:
Skipped stitches
112
Caution: Danger of injury!
Exercise utmost caution when eliminating defects with the machine
switched on.
Possible cause
The display shows a message
indicating the possible cause.
Before sewing start the needle
is in front of the wrong stitch or
not in its basic upper position.
Display:
Too low air pressure for the
pneumatic components.
Display:
Thread breakage
Display:
Threading mode is active.
Display:
Abnormal threading mode
Display:
Invalid cutting position
The needle is blunt, bent or
incorrectly inserted in the
needle bar.
Needle and looper thread are
threaded incorrectly.
The thread reel holder is
mounted wrongly.
Too tight thread tension.
The fabric is incorrectly held.
Remedy
Turn the handwheel until the
information disappears.
- Check the air pressure at the
manometer
- Has the compressed air hose been
connected question
- Check compressed air fluctuations
- Check all compressed air hoses
and connections
Activate the threading mode and
thread in the sewing automat anew.
Deactivate the threading mode
Deactivate the threading mode.
Switch off/on the sewing automat.
Check and set the control unit and
the data of the knives and cutting
blocks in use.
Insert a new needle
Insert the needle in the needle bar
correctly.
Check threading of needle and
looper thread

Check the thread reel holder
(See Assembly Instructions)
Check the thread tension
(See Operating Instructions)
Check the fabric clamping pressure
(see chapter "Fabric clamping
pressure").
