CHECKING THE TIRES
5. Install:
• Steering shaft bolt 5
6. Install:
• leg shield
Refer to "FRONT PANEL AND LEG SHIELD".
• footrest board
• center cover
Refer to "SIDE COVERS AND FOOTREST
BOARD".

CHECKING THE FRONT SHOCK
ABSORBER
1. Stand the scooter on a level surface.
WARNING

Securely support the scooter so that there
is no danger of it falling over.
2. Hold the scooter upright and apply the front
brake.
3. Check:
• front shock absorber operation
Push down hard on the handlebar several
times and check if the front fork rebounds
smoothly.
Rough movement → Repair.
Refer to "FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER
ASSEMBLIES" in chapter 4.

CHECKING THE TIRES
The following procedure applies to both of the
tires.
1. Measure:
• tire pressure
Out of specification → Regulate.
