NOTE:
• Check the bleed screw gasket, and if dam-
aged, replace with a new one.
• Place a oil pan under the autolube pump to
catch oil.

5. Install:
• air shroud
Refer to "GENERATOR AND AUTOLUBE
PUMP" in chapter 5.
• footrest board
• side cover (right)
• center cover
Refer to "SIDE COVERS AND FOOTREST
BOARD".

CHECKING THE SPARK PLUG
1. Disconnect:
• spark plug cap
2. Remove:
• spark plug
CAUTION:

Before removing the spark plug, blow away
any dirt accumulated in the spark plug well
with compressed air to prevent it from fall-
ing into the cylinder.
3. Check:
• spark plug type
Incorrect → Change.
Spark plug type (manufacturer)
