These menus provide system diagnostic information

and allow configuration of 'permanent' system settings.

The now playing screen will return if no action is taken

for approximately 15-20 seconds.

1. Press & Hold Niles Logo Key for 5-10 seconds to

open 'Installer Settings' Menu

MAC ID#

Select to confirm MAC ID# and Firmware version,

(Touch Screen, Display Keypad or iRemote

MAX VOLUME

Adjust maximum zone volume and zone Page volume.

Maximum zone volume can help prevent damage to

the speakers and amplifier by setting a maximum out-

put level well under the speakers power handling capa-

bility and amplifiers clipping level. Page volume sets an

undistorted paging level.

SOURCE LEVEL SETTINGS

Adjust GXR2 input levels to balance different source

audio output levels. This procedure requires that all

sources be on and playing. Radio stations should be

tuned to the same channel and Legacy Sources should

be playing program material with similar content. Using

similar or identical program material helps balance the

actual differences in output levels and not differences

in program material. With all sources playing, cycle

through the inputs to get a reference for which sources

are 'louder' and 'softer' than others.

INTERNAL IR SENSOR

Select the option to enable or disable the internal built-in

IR sensor of the Contact. This is used when interference

from an IR source that cannot be removed from the area,

(A second IR sensor in the same area, Sunlight, Plasma

TV) is affecting the IR sensor built-in to the Contact.
