F4 CHECK THE MULTIFUNCTION SWITCH
Multifunction Switch C263
F5 CHECK CIRCUIT 65 (DG) FOR VOLTAGE
Front Washer Pump C119
F6 CHECK CIRCUIT 1321 (TN/BK) FOR OPEN
FEM C191
F7 CHECK FRONT WASHER PUMP
Front Washer Pump C119

Yes
REPAIR Circuit 1321 (TN/BK). REPEAT the FEM self-test, CLEAR the DTCs.
No
INSTALL a new FEM. For additional information, REFER to
the DTCs.
Check the multifunction switch for correct operation. Refer to Wiring Diagram Cell 149.
Is the multifunction switch OK?
Yes
GO to F5.
No
INSTALL a new multifunction switch. For additional information, REFER to
test, CLEAR the DTCs.
Measure the voltage between front washer C119 Pin 1, Circuit 65 (DG), harness side and ground.
Is the voltage greater than 10 volts?
Yes
GO to F6.
No
REPAIR Circuit 65 (DG). REPEAT the FEM self-test, CLEAR the DTCs.
Measure the resistance between FEM C191 Pin 14, Circuit 1321 (TN/BK), harness side and front washer pump
C119 Pin 2, Circuit 1321 (TN/BK), harness side.
Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
Yes
GO to F7.
No
REPAIR Circuit 1321 (TN/BK). REPEAT the FEM self-test, CLEAR the DTCs.
Connect a fused (5A) jumper wire between FEM C191 Pin 14, Circuit 1321 (TN/BK), harness side and ground.
