NOTICE
Adjustable Bow Style Models
When attaching camper side curtains and aft
curtain you may want to adjust your bows to
provide more slack and thus ease the installa-
tion process. Press the spring pin to adjust
accordingly. Once the windshield connector and
curtains are installed, extend the bows to make
the canvas taught and remove sags. See Fig-
ure O4.
NOTICE
Non-Adjustable Bow Style Models
When attaching camper side curtains and aft
curtain you may need to unzip a portion of the
camper canvas from the arch to provide some
slack and thus ease the installation process.
Do not unzip completely. Once the camper
side curtains and aft curtain are installed, zip
the camper top completely to the arch.
For camper storage, reverse the procedure described
above.

COCKPIT COVER
The cockpit cover is optional and is used to cover the
complete cockpit area and is intended as a short term
storage cover. See Figure O6.

To install:
1. Snap the forward edge of the cockpit cover to the
bottom edge of the windshield track. Snaps can be
adjusted on the windshield track if necessary.

2. Snap the cockpit cover sides to the deck and arch.
3. Secure the rear corners and aft edge of the cockpit
canvas. This is done with the use of snaps and straps
which are placed around the transom rail and tight-
ened.
4. Place the adjustable poles in position. The adjust-
able poles are provided to adjust the canvas for taut-
ness and prevent puddling.
To store the cockpit cover we recommend folding the cover
in half, lengthwise and then rolling the cover up.

USE OF WEATHER COVERS AND CARBON
MONOXIDE
When an engine is running, a natural vacuum may exist
with the right wind and sea conditions to allow exhaust
gases (which includes carbon monoxide) to seep into the
boat. When canvas is utilized, this compounds the
possibility of this occurring and inhibits natural ventila-
tion. For more information, refer to Section B-2 - Carbon
Monoxide in this manual.
The carbon monoxide in exhaust fumes can be hazard-
ous. It is important for you and your passengers to be
aware of the potential safety hazard created by exhaust
fumes. Familiarize yourself with the symptoms of indi-
viduals overcome by carbon monoxide, and most impor-
tantly, ways you can protect yourself and your guests.
See Figure O7 - Carbon Monoxide Canvas Warning La-
bel and Figure O8 - Carbon Monoxide Warning Label.
