M - 13 RADAR ARCH
The radar arch is a feature on certain Vista™ models
and is swept forward in design. This presents a sleek,
new look while providing an adequate platform neces-
sary for installation of radar equipment. See Figure M16.
Four Winns offers a certain optional navigation package
that include radar equipment for certain specific Vista™
models. Refer to Section E - 9P Navigational Equip-
ment.

M - 14 SPOTLIGHT

A properly operating spotlight is essential for safe cruis-
ing at night. Four Winns offers electrically controlled spot-
lights as standard or optional equipment on the Vista™
model. The spotlight uses an electric motor and helm
switch controls to direct the spotlight beam. See Figure
M17. Refer to the spotlight manufacturer's literature in-
cluded in the owner's packet.

M - 15 ENGINE DAY HATCH w/ ELECTRIC LIFT
Certain Vista™ models feature an engine day hatch with
an electric lift or screw jack. The screw jack lifts and
lowers the engine day hatch by pressing the switch lo-
cated on the dash. The screw jack runs off either the
ship systems's battery or engine battery depending on
the Vista™ model. For quick visual inspections of the
engine(s) an inspection lid is installed. See Figures
M18 & M19.

To raise the engine hatch:
1. Remove the cockpit table or aft fill-in cushion (if cur-
rently installed).
2. Press the engine hatch switch ("UP") to raise the
engine hood to its open position.
