speed .
Idle speed: 49 states type: 1 ,000
California type: 1 , 1 00
Canadian type: 1 ,000
Check the each carbu reto r i ntake vacu u m pressu re is with­
in 20 mm (0.8 i n ) Hg of the base carbu retor.
N OTE
The base carbu retor is the No. 1 carbu retor.

Sync h ro n i z e to s pecificat i o n by t u r n i n g t h e a d j u st i n g
screws.
Recheck the i dl e speed a nd each cyl i nder i ntake vacu u m
pressu re s o i t is with i n 2 0 m m (0.8 i n ) Hg of the base ca r­
bu retor read in g after snapping the.th rottle grip 3 - 4 times.
Remove the vacu u m gauge a nd adaptors.
