Handlebar Lower Holder Nut Tightening Procedure
I nsta l l the h a n d lebar l owe r h o l d e r.
Loose ly i n sta l l the washers a n d n uts.
I nsta l l the h a n d lebar and upper h o l d e r ( page 1 2-2).
Tig hten the u pper holder bo lts.
Torque: 5 N·m (0.5 kg-m, 3.6 ft-lb)
Adj ust the h a n d lebar stra i g ht-a head by tap the end of h a n­
d l ebar. Make s u re that the l ength A and B a re eq u a l .
Tig hten t h e lower h o l d e r n uts.
Torque: 27 N·m (2.7 kg-m, 20 ft-lb)
Tig hten the u pper holder bolts ( page 1 2-2).
Torque: 23 N·m (2.3 kg-m, 1 7 ft-lb)
Make s u re th at th e l ength A and B a re eq u a l .
