Apply clean e n g i n e oil to the 9 m m bolt th reads a n d seat­
i n g su rface a nd i nsta l l them .
Loosely i nsta l l a l l the l ower cran kcase bolt.
M a ke s u re t h e u p p e r a n d l ow e r c ra n kc a s e a re s ea ted
secu rely.
F rom the i nside to o utside, torq u e the l owe r cra n kcase 9
mm bo lts i n a crisscross pattern i n
Torque: 31 N·m (3.1 kg-m, 22 ft-lbl
Torq ue the 8 m m bo lts, and then the 6 mm bo lts.
Torque: 8 mm bolt: 23 N·m (2.3 kg-m, 17 ft-lbl
6 mm bolt: 12 N·m ( 1 .2 kg-m,
