light
Note:
• Cruise control and traction
control will not function if
there is a malfunction with
the ABS system and the ABS
warning light is illuminated.
When the ignition switch is turned to the ON
position, it is normal that the ABS warning
light will flash on and off. The light will
continue to flash after engine start-up until
the
motorcycle
first
reaches
exceeding 6 mph (10 km/h) when it will go
off.
Unless the ABS system is disabled (see
page 34), or there is a fault, it should not
illuminate again until the engine is restarted.
If the indicator light becomes illuminated at
any other time while riding it indicates that
the ABS has a malfunction that requires
investigation.
Warning
If the ABS is not functioning, the brake
system will continue to function as a non
ABS braking system. Do not continue to
ride for longer than is necessary with the
indicator light illuminated. Contact an
authorized Triumph dealer as soon as
possible to have the fault checked and
rectified. In this situation braking too hard
will cause the wheels to lock resulting in
loss of control and an accident.

General Information

Tire Pressure Warning Light

The tire pressure warning light
works in conjunction with the tire
pressure monitoring system (see
page 26).
The warning light will only illuminate when
the front or rear tire pressure is below the
recommended pressure. It will not illuminate
if the tire is over inflated.
When the warning light is illuminated, the
TPMS symbol indicating which is the deflated
tire and its pressure will automatically be
visible in the display area.
