Recommendation
 Wipe the scanner windows with a dry lint-free soft cloth. (See Cleaning the
inside of the machine on page 117.)
 Clean the drum unit. (See Cleaning the drum unit on page 125.)
 Identify the missing colour and put in a new toner cartridge. (See Replacing
the toner cartridges on page 97.)

 Clean all four corona wires (one for each colour) inside the drum unit by
sliding the green tab. (See Cleaning the corona wires on page 121.)
 Make sure the corona wire green tabs are at their home positions (a).
 Replace the toner cartridge that matches the colour of the streak or band.
(See Replacing the toner cartridges on page 97.)

 Put in a new drum unit. (See Replacing the drum unit on page 102.)
 If coloured lines appear at 30 mm (1.2 in.) intervals, replace the toner
cartridge that matches the colour of the line. (See Replacing the toner
cartridges on page 97.)

 If coloured lines appear at 94 mm (3.7 in.) intervals, put in a new drum unit.
