12.3.4 Reading data from Flash Cache

When the data is stored in the module, Data ONTAP can check to see whether the data is
there the next time it is needed, as shown in Figure 12-5.

When the data is there, access to it is far faster than having to go to disk. This process is how
a workload is accelerated, as shown in Figure 12-6.
