    VENTING AND INSTALLATION 1. Heat -N-Glo gas inserts are designed for recessed installations into solid fuel Masonry or Factory Built Non Combustible fireplaces that have been installed in accordance with the National, Provincial, State and local building codes. 2. Minimum fireplace opening requirements are shown in Figure 1 of this instal- lation manual.

For zero clearance, factory built woodburning fireplaces, the use of kit LINK-ZC-ADP, in place of the standard square flashing, will allow you to mount the adaptor and cap on metal pipe.

    Fireplace Although the frequency of your fireplace servicing and Maintenance maintenance will depend on use and the type of installation, you should have a qualified service technician perform an appliance check-up at the beginning of each heating season.
