Port Mirroring
Monitoring can show all packets, inbound or outbound to the target port, or it can be limited to just
one direction. Choose Direction: RX to see only inbound packets. Choose Direction: TX to see only
outbound packets. Choose Direction: Both to see all packets, inbound or outbound, to the monitored
port.
Finally, set the status to Enabled and press the Apply button to begin monitoring.
If the monitoring port is a 100/10BaseT port and the monitored port is a gigabit port, the interface will
display an error message "Cannot set this port!" To continue, select the link "Return to previous
page" and the interface will show the last valid assignment for the port mirroring settings.

10.3 Disabling Port Mirroring

To disable port monitoring, go to the Port Mirroring menu item (Ports > Basic Port Config. > Port
Mirroring) and set the status to Disabled and press the Apply button. Port mirroring will be disabled.
