    Configuration preparation Preparing the Avaya Security Gateway for the VPNremote Phone VPNremote Phone users who login to the VPN through the Avaya security gateway must have their user authentication configured on that security gateway. The user authentication configuration allows VPN traffic to flow through the corporate firewalls to the security gateway.
