Understand Phone Icons and Status Indicators

At the top of each view, a status bar displays the date, time, your line, and icons that you can tap to
access messages, recent calls, and warning messages, or to enable Do Not Disturb. When your device
has information you need to know, icons and messages scroll in the status bar under the time display with
the date. The next figures show the icons that display in the status bar in Home and other views.

or a call or contact's status. You can tap certain icons to access information or enable features.
