My calendar stores calendar entries locally on the phone and not as part of an email

Google/Gmail are calendar entries that are synchronized between your phone and your

online Google Account.
Corporate are calendar entries that are synchronized between your phone and either an
l
Exchange Server or available from within Microsoft Outlook.
4. Touch the Title field and enter a title for the event.
5. Touch OK to save the event, or touch Edit event details to enter more information about the
event:
Assign the new calendar event to sync with an email account (such as Gmail) by touching the
l
Calendar field and selecting an account.
Select a From/To time for the event by touching the corresponding fields, and adjusting the
l
month, day, and year.
Select a time for the event by touching the time field and then adjusting the hour and minute.

Touch the All day field to assign this as an all day event. If assigned as an all day event, the
time fields are removed as options.
Select a recurrence cycle for the event by touching the Repeat field.
l
Select an alarm time by touching the Reminder field.
l
Enter a location for the event in the Location field or touch
l
map.
Enter a description for the event in the Description field.

Touch Memos to add an S Memo file as an attachment. For more information, see S Memo.
l
Touch Images to add an image from the Gallery or take a new picture using the camera.

6. Touch Save to store the new event and synchronize it with your selected account.
Event Alerts
When your phone is turned on and you have an event alarm scheduled, your phone alerts you and
displays the event summary. There are several ways your phone alerts you to scheduled events:
By playing the assigned ringtone.
