7. INSTALLATION
WARNING! Follow the general warnings and safety instructions listed in the previous paragraphs
!
and strictly adhere to the indications therein contained.

7.1 Location of the appliance

WARNING! Prior to starting any installation activities, ensure that the location where the water heater is to be
installed satisfies the following requirements:
a) Water heaters without an air exhaust duct should be installed in rooms having a volume of no less than 20 m
and/or an area greater than 8 m
Do not install the product in a room containing an appliance which requires air to function (e.g. a gas boiler, gas
water heater, etc.). In case of external installation, safety and performances of the product are not guaranteed.
b) The appliance's air exhaust duct (if present) must have access to the outside from the location where the appliance
is installed. The position of the air aspiration and exhaust duct connections (where relevant) located on the rear
side of the appliance are indicated in Fig. 9.
c) Ensure that the installation site and the electrical and hydraulic systems to which the appliance must be connected
fully comply with the regulations in force.
d) The chosen location must have, or must be suitable to be equipped with, a single-phase 220 V ~ 50 Hz power
supply socket.
e) The chosen location must be suitable for housing the condensate outlet connected to the lower part of the appliance
by a siphon.
f) The chosen location must be suitable to guarantee the appropriate safety distances from the wall and ceiling in
order for the appliance to operate properly and to facilitate maintenance operations (Fig. 10).
g) The wall onto which the appliance is to be fixed must be capable of supporting the weight of the appliance.
h) The chosen site must conform to the appliance's IP protection class (protection against the penetration of liquids)
as specified by the regulations in force.
i) The appliance must not be exposed to direct sunlight, even when windows are present.
l) The appliance must not be exposed to particularly aggressive substances such as acidic vapours, dust or gas-filled
environments.
m) The appliance must not be directly installed on telephone lines that are not protected against overvoltage.
n) The appliance must be installed as close as possible to the points of use to limit heat dispersion along the piping.

7.2 Wall installation

The water heater already comes with a wall support bracket including the relative fixing systems; these are suitably
sized and can withstand the weight of the appliance once its tank is full.
When fixing the support bracket, use the rawlplugs and relative rubber anti-vibration washers supplied (Fig. 11).
Special care must be taken when aligning the appliance both horizontally and vertically to ensure the proper outflow
of the condensate which may form on the upper part of the appliance while the heat pump operates. Using a level
gauge, verify the horizontal alignment of the upper bracket (Fig. 11) and the vertical alignment of the appliance and
