1.6 Transportation and handling

Upon delivery, check that the packaging is not visibly damaged on the outside. If the goods appear damaged, notify
any claims to the forwarder immediately.
WARNING! The appliance should be kept in a vertical position when transported, handled or stored and should
not be inclined for more than 45° (Fig. 1). If any such phases entail placing the product in a different position
to that recommended, wait at least 3 hours before starting the appliance once it is in the correct vertical
position and/or installed; this will ensure that the lubricating oil inside the refrigerating circuit is correctly
placed to avoid damaging the compressor.
The packaged appliance may be handled manually or with the aid of a forklift; follow the relative graphic indications
appearing on the box. Wherever possible, it is advisable to keep the appliance in its original packaging until installing
it in its chosen location, particularly when construction work is under way on-site.
Upon removing the packaging, check whether the appliance is intact and that no parts are missing. In the event of
defects or missing components, notify the dealer within the time limits specified by the law.
WARNING! Keep all packaging material (clips, plastic bags, polystyrene foam, etc.) out of reach of children as
it is potentially dangerous.
