GENERAL INFORMATION
1. GENERAL INFORMATION

1.1 Field of application

This appliance is intended for hot water production for domestic use or similar, at temperatures below boiling point.
To this end, it must be hydraulically connected to a domestic water supply network. The appliance requires electrical
power to function, while the use of air ducts is optional, as explained in greater detail in the following pages.
It is forbidden to use the appliance for uses other than those specified. Any other use of the appliance is improper and
prohibited; in particular, the appliance may not be used in industrial cycles and/or in environments exposed to corrosive
or explosive materials.
The manufacturer shall not be held liable for any damage due to faulty installation, improper or incorrect use, uses
that are not reasonably predictable, or from incomplete or careless implementation of the instructions contained in
this manual.
This appliance should not be used by people (including children) with limited physical, sensory or mental abilities, or
lacking sufficient experience/knowledge of the appliance, unless adequately supervised or instructed on its operation
by the person responsible for their safety.

1.2 Instructions and technical norms

This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lak of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance.
The manufacturer is responsible for the product's conformity to the relevant construction directives, laws and regulations
in force at the time the product is first commercialised. The designer, installer and user are each exclusively responsible,
in their respective fields, for knowing and observing the legal requirements and technical regulations concerning the
design, installation, operation and maintenance of the appliance. Reference to laws, regulations or technical specifications
contained in this manual is purely for information purposes; any new laws introduced or modifications to existing laws
are not in any way binding on the manufacturer towards third parties.
1-3 Certifications – CE marking
The CE marking applied to the appliance certifies that it conforms to the essential requirements of the following
European Directives:
- 2006/95/EC concerning the safety of electrical equipment.
- 2004/108/EC concerning electromagnetic compatibility.
Checks are carried out in conformity with the following technical standards:
EN 255-3; EN 60335-1; EN 60335-2-21; EN 60335-2-40; EN 55014-1; EN 61000-3-2; EN 61000-3-3; EN 50366.
The manufacturer's ability to manufacture and supply all products in conformity with the above-mentioned regulations
is guaranteed by a company quality management system that is certified according to the ISO 9001:2000 standard.
