o Rawl plugs are provided to secure the hood to most types of
walls and ceilings. However a qualified technician must verify the
suitability of the materials, in accordance with the type of wall
and ceiling. The wall and ceiling must be strong enough to take
the weight of the hood.
o Do not tile, grout or silicone this appliance to the wall. This
appliance is designed to be surface mounted only.
Attaching the glass canopy
o The glass fixing bolts should be found with the other brackets
and screws provided with the cooker hood. If you find them
already attached to the cooker hood, then you should unscrew
them.
o Carefully place the glass canopy on the upper surface of the
cooker hood.
o Screw the glass fixing bolts through the relevant holes in the
glass canopy.
o IMPORTANT: You must ensure that the glass section is securely
held in place by the glass fixing bolts. However the glass fixing
bolts must not be over tightened, otherwise excessive pressure
could be placed on the glass canopy.
