Problem
Engine does not start
Sweeper does not move
Brushes do not rotate
No dust extraction
Poor sweeping results
Dust is stirred up during
sweeping
Lifting mechanism for
emptying hopper does not
work
Sweeper travels forwards
or backwards even though
drive pedal is not pressed
User Instructions
Possible cause
Battery is flat
Gas cylinder empty
Gas cylinder closed
Engine oil level is too low
Lever (bypass valve) on
converter transmission is open
V-belt has snapped
V-belt is loose
Main brush or side brush has
been jammed by packing bands
or similar item
Fan is not working
Filter is blocked
Brushes are worn down
Waste hopper is full
Incorrect sweeping pattern
Worn out seals on sweeper, filter
not fitted properly or defective
Fuse has blown
Defective switch
Defective hydraulic unit
Neutral position not set up
correctly
Remedy
Recharge or replace battery
Replace gas cylinder
Open gas cylinder
Top up with oil
Push lever in opposite
direction to travel – see
"Pushing the sweeper by
hand"
Call Customer Service
Check belt tension and adjust
as required
Remove blockage
Check V-belt
Clean or replace filters
Replace brushes
Empty waste hopper
Adjust sweeping pattern
Replace defective seals; fit
filter correctly or replace it
Replace fuse or inform
Customer Service if fuse
blows repeatedly
