6.1 Overview

PhotoPC 850Z requires no specific maintenance such as lubrication or
cleaning on a regular basis except when the parts shown below are replaced.
Also, it is necessary to perform cleaning upon necessity if any dust or finger
prints are found on any parts during the repair service.

After applying grease to the specified parts, wait at least
30 seconds before proceeding to the next assembly step
as it takes a while for the grease to dry.

Since the grease consists of fluoroplastic and solvent,
which are likely to be separated easily, shake the grease
bottle well before use.

Be careful with the lubrication point as well as the amount
of grease. The grease should not drip or leak after the
application.

6.1.1 Check Points

The table below lists check items and cleaning points after the repair service is
completed. If you find any stain or dust, perform proper service while referring
to Chapter 4 "Disassembly and Assembly". Dust and finger prints can be
removed by touching them several times with Scotch tape.
