If you fail to draw the correct unlock pattern on the screen after five attempts, you will be prompted to
wait for 30 seconds before you can try again.
Note: To change your unlock screen pattern, open the Notifications panel, and then touch
Security > S creen lock. Draw your current screen unlock pattern and then touch Pattern.
Use a Screen Unlock PIN
1. Slide the Notifications panel open, and then touch
2. Touch Screen lock > P IN.
3. Enter a PIN and touch Continue.
4. Enter your PIN again to confirm and touch OK.
If you fail to enter the correct PIN after five attempts, you will be prompted to wait for 30 seconds
before you can try again.

1. Slide the Notifications panel open, and then touch
2. Touch Screen lock > P assword.
3. Enter a password and touch Continue.
4. Enter your password again to confirm and touch OK.

Disable the Screen Lock
1. Slide the Notifications panel open, and then touch
2. Draw your unlock screen pattern, enter your PIN, or enter your password, and then touch
Continue. If you fail to enter the correct password after five attempts, you will be prompted to
wait for 30 seconds before you can try again.
3. Touch None.

Kid Mode Settings

Kid Mode lets you set up a safe mode for allowing young children to use your phone without
accessing anything you don't want them to. Use the Kid Mode settings to set up profiles for your kids,
allow incoming calls while in Kid Mode, or select an option for exiting Kid Mode.

2. Select an item to customize your Kid Mode settings:
