Using Zoe camera Don’t let the best moments just pass by. When timing is everything, capture the exact moment with HTC One and get more than just a still photo. With just a convenient button in Zoe camera mode, you can: Take a photo.
When taking your burst shots with a 3-second video clip, it's good practice to: § Keep HTC One steady to capture moving subjects against a static background scene. § If using Sequence Shot to stitch different action shots into one photo, encourage the subject to make obvious lateral movements.
> When you're ready to take the photo, tap Taking a panoramic photo Get a wider shot of landscapes in one sweep. Some camera features are not available when you’re in this mode, such as zooming. Open the Camera app.
Camera Pan left or right in either landscape or portrait view. Hold HTC One as smoothly as you can to automatically capture frames. You can also tap to stop capturing anytime. The camera stitches the frames into a single photo.
§ Avoid capturing scenes with moving objects. § Keep at least five meters distance from the scene. To take succeeding shots, pan HTC One as smoothly as you can, and then center another box within the Viewfinder markers. Do this repeatedly until you get your desired frames or when you don't see any more boxes.

Working with certificates Use client and Certificate Authority (CA) digital certificates to enable HTC One to access VPN or secured Wi-FI networks, and also to provide authentication to online secure servers. You can get a certificate from your system administrator or download it from sites that require authentication.
If you enter the wrong PIN more times than the maximum number of attempts allowed, the nano SIM card will become “PUK-locked.” You need a PUK code to restore access to HTC One. Contact your mobile operator for this code.
Settings and security Disabling an app Apps, even if not used often, may be running in the background and downloading data. If an app cannot be uninstalled, you can disable it. Go to Settings, and then tap App manager. Swipe to the All tab. Tap the app, and then tap Disable.
Choose to set a screen lock pattern, numeric PIN, or other means of securing your phone. You'll be asked to unlock the screen every time HTC One is turned on or when it’s idle for a certain period of time. Go to Settings, and then tap Security.
Bypassing the lock screen If you've set a screen lock for HTC One, you can just skip the lock screen and go straight to the security screen for unlocking HTC One. Go to Settings, and then tap Security.
