Google Latitude
Google Latitude™ user location service lets you and your friends share locations and status
messages with each other. It also lets you send text and email messages, make phone calls, and get
directions to your friends' locations.
Your location is not shared automatically. You must join Latitude, and then invite your friends to view
your location or accept their invitations. Only friends that you have explicitly invited or accepted can
see your location.
Open and Join Latitude
1. Touch
> > M aps.
2. While viewing a map, touch
You can access Latitude from Maps whenever you have an Internet connection. In Maps, touch
Latitude.
Get help and more information about Maps and Latitude. Touch > H elp. The Web browser opens
and takes you to the Google Maps help site.
Scout
®
Scout™ by Telenav
is a daily personal navigator that helps you get where you're going. It lets you
see and hear turn-by-turn directions and it can provide important, personalized information about
traffic and alternate routes.
Note: To find your location with Google Maps, you need to enable location sources. To learn how,
see Location Setting.
Install the Scout App on Your Phone
Before you use Scout on your phone, you must download and install the app from Google Play.
1. Touch
> > P lay Store.
2. Touch
and search for "scout".
3. Touch Scout by Telenav from the results list.
4. Touch Install, and then touch Accept & download.
5. When the download has completed, touch Open. To open the app from the Home screen, touch
> S cout.
