Set the Control Room monitor source to MTR, and set the CR monitor knob to a moderate listening
level. Set the main meters to MTR.

Press the AUDIO tab at the bottom of the touchscreen. From the pop-up menu select MONITOR; the
window appears. (See Figure 3)

Access the CR MONITOR (Control Room Monitor) tab and then touch the SURROUND button in the
upper left-hand corner. Note that the EXT 1 - 6 and MTR 1 - 6 SOURCE buttons all light up,
indicating that CR outputs 1 - 6 are now carrying signal from either MTR buses 1 - 6 or EXTernal inputs
1 - 6 (as set in the Audio Input Routing window; see page 1-13 in this guidebook for more information),
depending upon which Source switch is pressed in the CR Monitor section.
Once these steps are completed, any signal assigned to MTR bus 1 in the Input/Pan/Assign window will be fed
to the front left speaker, any signal assigned to MTR bus 2 will be fed to the front right speaker, any signal
assigned to MTR bus 3 will be fed to the center speaker, any signal assigned to MTR bus 4 will be fed to the
subwoofer,* any signal assigned to MTR bus 5 will be fed to the rear left speaker, and any signal assigned to
MTR bus 6 will be fed to the rear right speaker.
Note that the currently selected Monitor mode (Stereo, Mono, or Surround) is saved along with the Title.
* If required, the SW LVL (Subwoofer Level) control in the Input/Pan/Assign window allows signal to be routed to
the subwoofer independent of the MTR bus 4 master fader.
