10. ROUTINE M AINTENANCE
WARNING: Ensure that the power cord is unplugged from the power outlet before
performing r outine m aintenance.
IMPORTANT: T o e nsure c ontinued, e fficient o peration o f t he d ehumidifier, t he
maintenance p rocedures b elow s hould b e p erformed r egularly.
10.1. F requency o f m aintenance
The w orking p erformance o f t he d ehumidifier w ill b e g reatly r educed i f t he f ilters b ecome
clogged. P lease c lean t he a ir f ilter e very t wo m onths, a t m inimum. M ore f requent c leaning
may b e n eeded. U se v isual i nspection w eekly t o d etermine i f d ebris b uild u p h as c logged t he
filter.
10.2. C leaning t he a ir f ilter.
STEP # 1: R emove t he f ilter a s s hown i n t he d iagram b elow.
STEP # 2: V acuum a ny d ebris f rom t he f ilter.
STEP # 3. U se l ukewarm w ater a nd a m ild d etergent t o w ash t he f ilter.
STEP # 4: d rying.
STEP # 5: R e-­‐install t he f ilter i nto t he d ehumidifier

PCB.
STEP # 3: O n t he P CB i s a C R2032 b attery. R emove t he b attery a nd r eplace w ith n ew.
STEP # 4: R efit t he c ontrol p anel o nto t he P CB.
STEP # 5: R efit t he f our s crews.
