To Create a Group, click Group Add and enter a
text description (e.g., MyStores, Parking Garage,
etc.).
Enter the Local Code that matches the Local
Code on the target DÉSA
the Local Information tab under Setup).
Enter a Local Name to be used as the name on
the Remote Client; it doesn't need to match the
Local Code.
Enter the IP Address of the DÉSA
(required if the DNS Host field is blank). This
field is automatically filled when the DNS host
address is resolved to an IP Address.
Enter the User Name and Password, as assigned
by the Administrator.
This procedure adds a connection profile to the
list under the group named, and appears on the
Main Screen in the window titled Server Info. To
connect in the future, double-click Server Id in
the Server Info window.
10.4.2 To connect, open the group by clicking the plus
sign at the top left of the screen, select the
desired DÉSA
The Connecting to Local window displays the
progress of the connection. If successful, the
window disappears and the name of the profile
and the IP Address appears in the Connection
List box in the lower left-hand corner of the
screen.
If connection fails, a Connection Failed message
appears, click OK to continue.
Setting up Multiple Locals.
For setup and connection of additional Local
Servers, repeat the prior instructions to create a
group.
There is a maximum connection limit of 16

Client. There is also a 16 Remote Client
connections limit per DÉSA Local Server.
